So I picked this one because two novels immediately spring to mind when I read the synopsis: The Hunger Games and The Night Circus. It's seriously like they had a baby, which makes me want to read this to see if it's a straight rip off, or if it's coincidental that it sounds like those two novels. If it's different than those two novels, then this book would be AWESOME.

This one just sounds amazing. I can't exactly explain why, but it just does :P. I guess I'm fascinated with stories about losing your memory "conveniently" when someone is murdered or something and the fact that she is also blind, makes it even more interesting. And of course the cover is gorgeous, if not kind of creepy!

The cover looks fantastic, for one. I love how her hair is over her face, it really reminds me of zombies, for some reason! Probably because they move their head all weird :P. But this just sounds amazing! I fell in love with the zombie paranormal genre when I read The Forest of Hands and Teeth and I haven't looked back since, so I'm bound to love this. Plus everyone raves about Courtney Summers :).

Only this time Calder screws everything up: he falls for Lily—just as Lily starts to suspect that there's more to the monsters-in-the-lake legends than she ever imagined. And just as his sisters are losing patience with him.

That cover is just so pretty! I'm a sucker for that color scheme. I wish it had a prettier font, though, but I kinda like how it's just simple. This one is about mermaids!! That in itself is why I want to read this, but it also sounds so mysterious and unique to the mermaid genre (though any novel in the mermaid genre seems to be unique and different from each other).

Look at that cover! It’s gorgeous! That alone is why I want this book but it sounds amazing as well. I love dystopians and this one seems especially good, so hopefully it’ll live up to expectations.
