I actually won this quite a while ago from Small Review, but there must have been something that went wrong when it got mailed or something! But the lovely owner of Small Review contacted the publisher (where the book was being shipped from) and got it all worked out for me. Thank you Small Review!

This was only $5.99 at Borders in their bargain books section! I didn’t even know they had a bargain books section, let alone that YA would be in it! I am now a new fan of Borders (they have pretty normal prices for books!)

 

Dark Visions Volume 1 (The Strange Power, The Possessed, and The Passion) by L.J Smith

This was only $3.99, also in the bargain section of Borders!

 

Stargazer (Evernight #2) by Claudia Gray

I do not have Evernight, but this was only $2.99 at Borders, I figured what the heck? I’ve been thinking about getting Evernight for a while anyway, this will give me an incentive lol.

 

Fallen by Lauren Kate

I’ve been eyeing this one for quite a while and decided to get it while I was book shopping. This is the only one I bought regular priced, but for $9.99 it wasn’t a bad price. I seriously thought Borders was this expensive bookstore like Barnes and Noble! I normally tried to find books online or Walmart or my local bookstore, but now I have another to shop at when I’m in the area :)

Currently reading and it’s very interesting so far.

The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff

This book looks so interesting! It’s up next after The Adoration of Jenna Fox. The cover is so wonderfully creepy, too .

Reunion (The Mediator #3) by Meg Cabot

So I’ve read 1-4 of these books before, but I only owned the 4th one (weird I know, I must have borrowed them from a friend), so I bought this with the money I got back from the ruined Ninth Key (#2) book. This was only a couple cents more than the amount I got back for Ninth Key, so I figured I’d get it.

Vampire Academy (Vampire Academy #1) by Richelle Mead

Got this with a gift card from Swagbucks (go check this site out, it’s awesome!). I bought it used and it came in surprisingly good condition. The edges and spine were a little worn and there’s someone name in the front cover, but other than that, it has no marking or significant damage. I was expecting something a lot worse lol.

My very first ARC that I asked for, so I’m incredibly excited! The book’s synopsis looks adorable and the book itself is adorable. It has a purple cover underneath the above book jacket and it has pictures inside! (that are absolutely wonderful, I might add!)

I have the fourth one for some reason and not 1-3, so I bought this.

The Ninth Key (The Mediator series #2) by Meg Cabot

I bought this one described as Used – Very Good. It came with a bunch of highlighting and notes in it (about someone named Brutus??) as well as a bent spine and front cover, and pages that looked like the got wet (they’re all wavy-like). Now, you tell me: does that describe “very good” very well? You better believe I’m sending this one back .

100 Characters from Classical Mythology by Malcolm Day

I’m extremely interested in mythology, so my wonderful boyfriend bought me this book as an early birthday present. It has wonderful family trees and a page or two about a lot of the gods and goddesses. I’ve already peeked at it a bit, and I love it! If there’s a book you have on mythology that is amazing for the subject (and not ridiculously hard core, where I can just pick it up and browse when I want), then let me know in the comments!
